An interesting group of stallions received an invitation for the second viewing today in Ermelo, including four sons of the top sire Chacco-Blue.

Out of the four selected Chacco-Blue sons, three come from a dam line descended from Heartbreaker, with two of them being full brothers. Two sons of Arezzo VDL received the green light for Den Bosch.

"On average, the stallions were more correct in conformation and foundation than yesterday, but there were still some stallions today that, based on the observations on the street, could not proceed to the next round. There were also stallions with good conformation that fell short in jumping today. On the other hand, fortunately, we also saw some striking horses, many of which are genetically interesting," says Henk Dirksen on behalf of the stallion inspection committee. "The committee is pleased with the 21 stallions they have been able to select for Den Bosch. The first viewing is only the first stage, so further selection will take place in the next round. In terms of lineage, it's nice to see that our own proven sires, such as Bustique and Arezzo VDL, presented good sons. All in all, a fruitful day, and we look forward to tomorrow."
