After three days, a total of 63 jumping stallions have been selected
On the third day of the first viewing, the committee has invited twenty jumping stallions for the next round. This brings the preliminary total to 63.
With one regular day left, a significant number of stallions have already been selected for the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch. In addition to tomorrow, stallions can still be added to the Den Bosch collection at the re-inspection on December 29.
Good start
Today started positively, both on the runway and during free jumping. "This morning, the committee was able to invite 16 stallions right away, so that started well. Unfortunately, in the afternoon, there were still too many comments made on the foundation, or the presentation of the stallions in free jumping was disappointing," says senior inspector Henk Dirksen. "In total, 20 stallions were selected today, including some interestingly bred ones. The pedigree is only considered in a positive way in this round, so the committee will give it more weight in the second viewing. Tomorrow promises to be an interesting day as we expect the offspring of young stallions. So hopefully, a few more good stallions can be added to the collection for the second viewing." Conthargos had three sons accepted today, Defender VDS Z had two from his first crop, as did Emerald van 't Ruytershof and Landino VDL.
