In the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage class M, the victory of Nalegro, descending from the full sister of Valegro, marked a hattrick. All three competition rounds were claimed by the Painted Black son, ridden by reigning world champion Charlotte Fry. With scores including a 9.5 and two 9s, Nalegro achieved his highest score to date at 89.6.

Judges Marian Dorresteijn and Monique Peutz presided over the competition. Marian expressed their enjoyment of two excellent performances, stating, "A pleasure to watch, which we consider very valuable," following the conclusion of the last group featuring Nalegro and Netwerk, the top two in this final competition.

Hattrick for Nalegro
Nalegro (Painted Black out of Jalegrofleur ster pref PROK by Negro, bred by Joop Hanse from Burgh-Haamstede) once again received praise for his strength, power, and impulsion. "The canter was truly a highlight today; this is a horse that keeps coming from the hindquarters with a lot of flexion in the joints. He plays with the canter work." For his canter, the stallion received a score of 9.5. He also earned a 9 for harmony and overall impression. "He moves effortlessly through the exercises in all three gaits, demonstrates the ability to shift gears, and maintains a beautiful frame. He has a lot of potential for the future; we believe everything is on the right track."

Network again in second place
After winning in the Z/ZZ-L class, Femke de Laat secured the second position in the M class with the Just Wimphof son, Network (out of Keyveniz Texel stb-ext pref D-OC by Negro, bred by D. Staller and D. Broekema from Westbeemster). Their total score reached 84.6, with an 8.7 for harmony. "Network was presented beautifully; he stays nicely in contact, reaching out to the hand with his nose. He is a horse that moves very lightly and very easily. If he can gain a bit more strength, which is undoubtedly possible for such a young horse, he can only go up. Certainly a horse for the future, effortlessly performing his work."

Nacho completes the top three
The top three was completed by Nacho, a Negro son (out of Benetton ster preferent D-OC by Krack C, bred by S. Maakenschijn) from Van Olst Horses, also presented by Charlotte Fry. "The canter was his positive point today, very powerful and carried, with a lot of spring. He is beautiful and steady in the contact; what he showed very well today was the simple change. He has a very powerful hind leg, a lot of carriage, and good body usage. If he shows just a fraction more freedom in the shoulder to take even more weight behind, it will only get better." His total score reached 83.6.
