He came, saw, and conquered. The Stakkato Gold son, Stargos VDL, was once again unbeatable with Hessel Hoekstra in the saddle. With a flawless jump-off, victory in the Blom Stallion competition 1.30m class was well deserved.

Following last year's win in the Blom Stallion competition, he repeated his success this year. "It couldn't be better," says a more than satisfied Hessel Hoekstra. "It's not normal how good this horse is. His attitude is extraordinary, he's so careful, he has more than enough in him. He needs to grow into it, but every horse needs that. Take care of him, that's all I have to do."

Defender VDS Z
The second place in the competition goes to Defender VDS Z. This KWPN-approved stallion by Dominator Z (out of Atureusa keur sport-spr by Padinus, breeder Van der Schaar, owned by H.C. Verhagen) is ridden by Marco Sas and impressively jumped to third place in today's competition. Additionally, Defender VDS Z had his first son selected for performance testing yesterday.

Top 3
The top 3 is completed by the second Stakkato Gold son, Menno H (out of Toy H ster sport-spr pref by Baloubet du Rouet), bred by Pieter van Hees from Uden. Under Joep van der Kampen, the stallion had a jumping fault in the jump-off. In total, ten stallions competed in the Blom Stallion Competition 1.30m today, including the recently approved Cero Blue TN (Chacoon Blue out of Die Cera by Balou du Rouet), bred by Harm Thormählen, Team Nijhof, and Kees van den Oetelaar. Ridden by Kars Bonhof, the stallion recorded two faultless rounds.
