With four major championships to his name, several approved sons and grandsons, GLOCK's Dream Boy (by Vivaldi) has remarkable record of service. His rider, Hans Peter Minderhoud, always had confidence in him, and together, they were a reliable asset for the Dutch team. Last night, the stallion took center stage one last time under saddle at the KWPN Stallion Show to bid a fitting farewell to the sport.

"He started his career here at the Stallion Show. And the fact that we can now bid him farewell here at the Stallion Show, thirteen years later, is beautiful. It couldn't be better," Minderhoud says in a heartfelt video message shown before their freestyle performance.

Dazzling freestyle to his own freestyle music, Dream Boy enters the arena one last time. Under the watchful eyes of breeders, the Andeweg family, and his fellow registrants Tim Coomans, Jacques Maree, and Koen Brinkman, he demonstrates that at sixteen years old, he is still in top form.

Dream Boy's former rider, Gerdine Maree, also watches. Together, they won the bronze medal at the World Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden. The audience applauds well before the end, and Dream Boy steps up his performance. After the awards ceremony, Minderhoud takes Dream Boy for one more victory lap, and the stallion bids farewell while receiving a standing ovation.
