At the IBOP in Brummen today, ten mares passed successfully. With 82 points, the five-year-old Classico TN daughter Ozzy D was the highest scorer.

Of the five jumping mares, all five passed, while seven out of the 16 dressage horses also succeeded. 'It was a bit of a search today, but we were able to approve a few nice horses,' reacted Wim Versteeg, who, along with Bart Henstra, assessed the horses.

Good to ride
With 82 points, Ozzy D (Classico TN out of Eurostar PROK by Dubai) bred by H.J.M. van Dartel from Wijhe, obtained the elite predicate. 'Following the IBOP, we were able to add 75 points for exterior, declare her a star, and provisionally keur. She was already PROK, and passing the IBOP directly earned her the elite predicate. She is a light-footed moving mare with a naturally good posture. She jumps with a lot of body use, a good bascule, and good front leg technique, finishing the jump well. She shows carefulness and stands out with her quick reflexes and good rideability.' With 80.5 points, the Kjento daughter Perica (out of Dulcia star pref by Krack C, bred by M. Streppel from Lemelerveld) owned by Van Olst Horses was the highest-scoring dressage horse today. 'This four-year-old mare was presented sympathetically and has a good posture and connection. She walks with good stride length, relaxation, and suppleness. In trot, she is light-footed, moves uphill, and has good shoulder freedom. We saw the same picture in canter, where she has a lot of balance and moves well with the withers up. This mare is also pleasant to ride.' As a result, Perica also obtained the elite predicate.
