The spring performance test has provided mare owners with interesting new options. Eleven dressage stallions have been registered today, making them available for breeding.

Four stallions aged four year and older, and seven three-year-old stallions were approved yesterday. Committee chairman Bart Bax commented on each individually presented dressage stallion. For the first time in this evaluation, no numerical scores were assigned to the horses, resulting in more comprehensive reports. These reports can be found in the KWPN database.

Premium stallions
The overall quality was remarkable. For instance, the six-year-old Everest (s.Especial), who won the Pavo Cup last year, was registered by Van Olst Horses. The four-year-old Pride (s.Secret) received a premium last year and demonstrated his talent under saddle in this test. Among the three-year-olds, the premium stallion Rayano (s.Glamourdale), bred by Herwig Verthriest, was registered. The influence of Van Olst Horses was notable, as Gertjan and Anne van Olst had four stallions approved, and from their world champions Glamourdale and Kjento, two and one sons were registered respectively. The detailed reports aim to inform breeders as thoroughly as possible about the qualities and character of the stallions, enabling them to make well-considered breeding choices.
