The spring performance test has demonstrated the strength of the KWPN Select Sale. No fewer than four stallions, who changed hands through this auction, obtained their breeding license Tuesday.

The KWPN Select Sale offers the opportunity to purchase talented stallions that meet the standards regarding conformation, movement, qualities, and health. Time and again, it has been proven that future top horses are presented in this auction.

Premium stallions
In dressage, it was a reunion with the Secret-son Pride, bred from the full sister of world champion Jovian (s.Apache). This stallion was awarded a premium last year at the KWPN Stallion Show and the breeding product of the Ten Bosch family is now registered under the name of H.G. Lang from Frankfurt. This German bought Pride at the KWPN Select Sale for 200,000 euros. In the performance test, he was praised for his work ethic, use of body, and ability to collect. This year, the Glamourdale-son Rayano (dam's sire Cum Laude), bred by Belgian breeder Herwig Verthriest, was the auction topper at the KWPN Select Sale. He was acquired for 130,000 euros by Stephan Hirdes and Kim van der Muren. This premium stallion showed his talents under saddle in the performance test and impressed greatly with his attitude, focus, leg technique, and impulsion.

Jumper stallions
In the jumping direction, two KWPN Select Sale stallions also proved their potential in the performance test Tuesday. The Grandorado TN-son Romantico (dam's sire Cornet Obolensky, breeder René Mulder from Houwerzijl) of M. Geerts from Wuustwezel-Loenhout and Gertjan van Olst jumped with a lot of overview, use of body, and good rideability to approval. In the report, he is described as a very rideable stallion with great potential as a jumping horse. Additionally, the Pegase van ’t Ruytershof-son Resoluut S.A. (dam's sire Emerald van ’t Ruytershof), from the breeding of the Ellenbroek family of Stal Archem, was approved. This talented stallion is registered under the name of Connie Viscaal and showed great potential in the performance test. The report describes Resoluut S.A. as an actively galloping stallion, who jumps with a lot of impulsion and talent. Congratulations to the breeders and owners on their achieved success!
