The KWPN Championships for Young Show Jumpers and the Van Santvoort Makelaars Cup will take place from Monday, July 29th to Thursday, August 1st in Ermelo. The Van Santvoort Makelaars Cup offers spectators a chance to see the very best young show jumpers in the Netherlands. You can now register your talented young show jumper for the competition.

During this week, four- to seven-year-old show jumpers will compete for the prestigious title. Four-year-old show jumpers will be judged in the course on jumping ability and movement between obstacles. Each characteristic is rated from 0 to 10, with increments of 0.1. The jury members will be announced at a later date.

Entry fees
The entry fee for five-, six-, and seven-year-old show jumpers is €375 (including VAT) for the entire championship, including the (small) final. The entry fee for the four-year-olds’ semi-final is €62.65 (including VAT), and for the final it is €162.65 (including mandatory stabling and VAT). Entries can be submitted via MijnKNHS. WBFSH Studbooks Jumping Global Champions Trophy
In addition to the selection for the World Championships for Young Show Jumpers in Lanaken, the Van Santvoort Makelaars Cup also serves as a selection for the WBFSH Studbooks Jumping Global Champions Trophy, held in Valkenswaard. Five- to eight-year-old KWPN-registered show jumpers and eight- and nine-year-old KWPN-approved stallions are eligible for selection to compete in Valkenswaard. A selection committee of experts will assemble the strongest possible team per age category based on the results of the Van Santvoort Makelaars Cup. Horses stabled abroad can be selected based on sports results provided by email. To submit results, email by July 30th. For eight-year-olds and KWPN-approved stallions, sports results must be submitted to KWPN.

Numbers and Motivation
The number of horses selected for Valkenswaard is determined by FEI regulations and the organizer’s requirements. The selection process is conducted by the selection committee, which will provide motivation for the choices made. In cases of exceptional quality, the selection committee may choose to admit a horse later in the selection process.
