OG Tokyo: En Vogue and Carl Hester make a good team
Today, Carl Hester was the second rider in the second group of the first day of dressage at the Olympic Games. His En Vogue moved through the ring equally light-footed as expressive.
Unfortunately, a sloppy piaffe and a mistake in the changes brought down the score, that came up to a total of 75.497. Still a great starting position for the Grand Prix Special on coming Tuesday. Carl represents Great Britain.
KWPN-team
Fun fact: the entire English team is aboard KWPN-horses! En Vogue is a twelve-year-old gelding by Jazz out of Nicarla (elite prestatie sport-dr s.Contango). After Charlotte Dujardin once took over the reins of Valegro from Carl, she now returned the favour with En Vogue, with whom she competed at the highest level until last year. The twelve-year-old gelding is bred by the late Adriaan van de Goor in Herpen.
