Steffen Peters was the second to last in the third group with his Suppenkasper. Remarkable how easily this XL son of Spielberg can take off only to just as easily collect again a bit later.

The combination representing the USA certainly scored points in that aspect. The gelding also showed a great walk and lovely piaffe. The test had no notable mistakes and yielded 76.196, good for the third position in this strong last group. Suppenkasper has been active at the highest level for a while now and is clearly a seasoned contestant.  

Horse of the Year
The gifted Suppenkasper was born under the name Danny Boy out of Upanoeska keur IBOP-dres by Krack C and is bred by Frans van der Poel of Haps. Last year he was elected USDF Grand Prix Horse of the Year.
