Conformation:King Salvador is a well-developed stallion with a good rectangular model with a downward body direction. The head is sufficiently expressive. The neck is short with a heavy head-neck connection. The neck is set horizontally with more than sufficient length and a ewe-neck. The shoulder has more than sufficient length and a straight position. The withers are sufficiently developed and of sufficient length. The back has good length and good muscled. The loins are well connected and of good length. The croup is slightly sloping, of sufficient length and more than sufficient muscling. The hamstring should be longer. The foreleg is correctly positioned from the side and from the front. The hindleg is correctly positioned. The pasterns are good in length and correctly positioned. The foundation is more than sufficient to well developed and of sufficient to more than sufficient quality. The hooves are sufficiently developed, of sufficient shape and of sufficient quality. The heels are sufficiently developed, the right front is higher.
Descendant:
King Salvador has as father the international 1.45m classified El Salvador, who as a young horse was very successful during the performance test. His father Vigaro (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) was active at international Grand Prix level under Gerco Schröder. The dam of King Salvador is the elite preferent PROK mare Vivona, a full sister of the Grand Prix stallion Unaniem (by Numero Uno) by Athina Onassis. Vivona, who scored a 9 five times during her IBOP, already produced the international 1.40m show jumpers Flairvona (by Air Jordan Z) and Evivona (by Quintender). She also brought stallions from L’Esprit, Berlin and Dexter R who made it to the second round. Her dam Passivona is a daughter of the preferent sire Voltaire and besides Unaniem she also brought his full brothers Crack Uno (international 1.45m) and a 1.30m show jumper. She produced the international 1.45m horse Edelvona from Diarado and from Indoctro the international 1.40m horse Fantast. She is also the grandmother of several above average show jumpers. Her mother was also a successful broodmare. This Gabrielle (by Jasper) produced the KWPN stallion Garmisch (by Grannus) who jumped internationally and is the granddam of Will-Power R (by Concorde, international 1.50m) and Deevona (by Lupicor, international 1.40) m).
Performance report:
King Salvador is an honest, reliable and very hardworking stallion with a good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is easy to work with. The walk has just enough space. The trot has sufficient space. The stallion moves a little on the forehand but has a good balance. The canter has a lot of impulsion, is slightly rolling and has good space and balance. King Salvador jumps well with an upwards body direction, with many reflexes, a lot of use of the body and a very good foreleg technique where the jump is completed well in the hindlegs. King Salvador seems careful and shows a lot of athletic ability and has the quality to be able to forward very easily above the jump. King Salvador has much to very much talent for jumping and gives his rider a good to very good feeling.
Stable behaviour:
Honest and reliable stallion, easy in handling and calm in the stable.
