Performance test report

Conformation:
Legend VDP is a well-developed, appealing stallion who is more than sufficiently rectangular with a downward body direction. The head is expressive. The neck has sufficient length with a light head-neck connection. The neck is set slightly horizontally, more than sufficient in length and more than sufficient to good muscling. The shoulder is good in length and slightly straight. The withers are sufficiently developed and of sufficient length. The back is slightly sunken and of sufficient length and muscling. The loins are well muscled and well connected. The croup has a good position, good length and is well-muscled. The hamstring should be longer. The foreleg is correctly adjusted when viewed from the side and slightly toed-in when viewed from the front. The hindleg is straight. The pasterns are good in length and correctly positioned. The foundation is well developed and of good quality. The hooves are more than sufficiently developed, sufficiently in shape and more than sufficient in quality. The heels are slightly uneven in height.

Descendant:
The British Alex Gill achieved good results at international 1.50m level with Legend VDP's father, Grand Slam VDL. He is himself a son of Olympic horse Cardento, who in addition to being a top sport horse has also turned out to be a top breeding sire.
The dam of Legend VDP has also proven her talent, this Cendy VDP (by Triomphe de Muze) is also 1.50m international classified. A full sister of Cendy VDP performs at 1.30m level in Belgium and in Canada a half-brother (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek) jumps at the same level. Their mother Us Wendy V.D.W. is in turn a half-sister of an international 1.40m horse from Unaniem and a 1.40m horse from Emilion, who was active in France. Us Wendy V.D.W. descends from the respectively Keur and preferent top sires Corland and Indoctro. The international Grand Prix dressage horse Caster (by Amor) also comes from this dam line.

Performance report:
Legend VDP is an honest, reliable and sympathetic stallion with a good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is easy to work with. The walk has sufficient space and flexibility. The trot has sufficient space. The stallion has more than sufficient to good posture and balance during movement. The canter is light-footed, active and has good space and good carriage. Legend VDP jumps very well with an upwards body direction, with good reflexes. The stallion jumps with a very good foreleg technique and good use of the back where the jump is completed well in the hindlegs. Legend VDP seems careful and shows a lot of athletic ability. Legend VDP has a lot of talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.

Honest reliable stallion, easy going and calm in the stable.
