Exterior:
Nebraska VDL is a well-developed stallion with a balanced, rectangular build. He has a striking head. The neck is ample in length with a slightly heavy poll–neck connection, well-shaped, and well-muscled. The shoulder is of good length and correctly positioned. The withers are well developed and appropriately long. The back is of sufficient length and well muscled, with well-developed, properly attached loins. The croup is sloping, of good length, and well muscled, with the hindquarter muscle sufficiently long. The forelegs are correctly positioned both from the front and the side, and the hindlegs are correctly set. The hocks are well-shaped, of good length, and correctly placed. The limbs are strong and of good quality, with well-developed, well-shaped hooves. The pasterns are appropriately developed.

Pedigree:
The Grand Prix stallion Baltic VDL is the sire of Nebraska VDL. The approved stallion Baltic VDL has proven himself in international sport under both James Billington and Jur Vrieling, achieving multiple victories. Nebraska VDL’s dam is Hanolivia VDL, an elite mare by Douglas. Hanolivia VDL achieved an IBOP score of 85 points, receiving a 9 for her reflexes. Her dam, the approved, preferred NMK mare Anolivia VDL, is a daughter of the approved stallion Indorado. Anolivia VDL produced an international 1.40m showjumper by Zapatero VDL. Nebraska VDL’s dam line continues with the Nimmerdor daughter Nolivia, a preferred, approved mare. Nolivia is the dam of Volivia VDL (by Robin Z 723), who competed at 1.35m level, and the granddam of the 1.35m jumper Glenfiddich VDL, who is also KWPN-approved. Further back in the pedigree is the French mare Olivia Rouge (by Papillon Rouge), a full sister to the influential showjumping sire Papillon Rouge.

Performance report:
Nebraska VDL is an uncomplicated, reliable, and comfortable-to-ride stallion with a good temperament. He shows great willingness to work and responds well to training. His walk is more than sufficient in scope and suppleness. The trot is sufficient in scope and more than sufficient in power. In movement, he demonstrates a more than sufficient to good posture and balance. The canter is active, with good scope and hind-leg engagement, and he maintains good balance while changing leads smoothly. Nebraska VDL jumps well, lifting his body over the fences with good reflexes and extensive use of his body. He shows correct leg technique and appears careful, demonstrating significant scope and carefulness. As a showjumper, Nebraska VDL possesses more than sufficient to considerable natural talent and gives his rider a confident feeling.
