Casco is a well-developed stallion of sufficient riding type. He is in good rectangular model. The neck is well formed and placed well. The wither should be a bit longer. The loins are sufficiently connected. The croup has sufficient length but is a little flat.

This well developed Cascavelle son comes from the Holsteiner line 5382. He showed a lot of balance and push form behind in his canter. Cascavelle himself jumped with power and manners and this stallion answers to the same description. It may also be said that his scope is a very strong point in his favor. The great grandmother produced the international jumpers Laconda and Chanell (Laconda b. 1987 s. Latus II, d. Gotin, rider Michael Rüping; Chanell equals Chanel, b. 1978, s. Cor de la Bryère, d. Gotin, rider Jörg Münzner).



Performance 2000 (name Pascavelle)

Pascavelle is an honest, reliable stallion. He is more than willing to work and he works more than sufficiently. The walk is pure, has barely sufficient scope and is stiff. The trot has sufficient scope and carriage. He has a lot of impulsion but the hindleg should be brought underneath more. The canter has good scope. He has a lot of push and sufficient suppleness. He carries himself well at the canter. He has sufficient talent for dressage and gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling. He has a sufficient to more than sufficient take-off in jumping. He has good technique of the foreleg and he bascules more than sufficiently. He should finish the jump better behind. He seems careful and has more than sufficient ability. He has more than sufficient talent for jumping and he gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling. Stall and handling behavior is normal.

He had problems with the sesamoids in the left hind during the last few weeks of the test. He received medication to help him function.



He was not accepted for the studbook after the test.

Casco showed a uniform collection of sufficient to well developed, riding type foals in good rectangular model that have a lot of appeal. The head is expressive and sometimes a little convex between the eyes. The poll is good in length and form. The neck is good in length, very good in form and well muscled. The wither is good in length and more than sufficiently developed. The shoulder is more than sufficient in length and sufficient in placement. The back is well formed and well muscled. The loins are sometimes a little long but they are sufficiently connected and generally more than sufficiently muscled. The croup has sufficient length and is well formed. The hamstring has good length. The foreleg is correct. Sometimes there is a weak stance of the pastern. More than once the hindleg is a bit long. The base is well developed and has quality. The hooves are well developed and formed.
The walk is pure and sufficient to good in scope. The trot has very good scope and good carriage, a lot of suppleness and very good use of the foreleg. The use of the hindleg is powerful. The hindleg bends well but should be brought underneath more. The foals jump into the canter easily. The canter has good scope, a lot of impulsion and good balance. The foals can transition well.
The quality of the mares was moderate.
