Performance test report
Born in 1993, the gray stallion Clinton measures ± 1.70m / 16.3 hands. His sire Corrado I (Cor de la Bryère x Capitol I) was a grand prix jumper under Franke Sloothaak.
Clinton's dam is the Masetto (s.Montanus-Moltke I) daughter Urte, and Clinton's granddam Ohra is by Landgraf I. Competing under the name Olympia, Ohra was a successful international show jumper. Her dam Brikscha is by Raimond out of the Trakehner mare Lyck (s.Totilas). Under the name Luna, she was a successful jumper in Germany.
Clinton excelled as a show jumper under his regular rider Dirk Demeersman. In the ring, Clinton is a "go-getter." The combination's achievements include placing fourth in the 2004 Athens Olympics, finishing second in the 2005 Grand Prix of Aachen, and showing in the 2005 European Championships in San Patrignano as well as the 2006 World Championships in Aachen. Since then, Clinton has "earned his spurs" as a breeding stallion. He now has several offspring competing at the 1.50m level, the most famous of which are the successful international jumpers Cornet Obolensky (ds.Heartbreaker), ridden by Marco Kutscher; and Codar (ds.Darco), ridden by Alexander Onishenko. Both horses competed in the Hong Kong Olympics. Another of Clinton's celebrated offspring is Danny Boy (ds.Alexis Z), ridden by Beezie Madden, who showed in the World Cup Final in Las Vegas.
The Clinton sons Whitaker (ds.Indoctro) and Zacharov (ds.Lord Z) are KWPN-approved breeding stallions. Last year, the Clinton grandsons Advance (Utrillo van de Heffinck x Cavalier) and Arizona (Utrillo van de Heffinck x Libero H) were also licensed for KWPN breeding.
Clinton's jumping index is 143 with 78% reliability. His breeding values are 110 (66%) for conformation, 107 (66%) for movement, and 114 (68%) for free-jumping. After his show jumping career, Clinton was radiographed at age 12 and subsequently deemed class 3 because of his left front navicular bone; results of the remaining radiographs meet KWPN criteria. The stallion meets KWPN requirements for respiratory health.
