Performance test report
Performance Ermelo 2001Stravinsky is an honest, reliable stallion. He is very willing to work and he works well. The walk is pure and active and has sufficient scope. The trot has sufficient scope and the hindleg is active. Stravinsky should show more suspension. The stallion carries himself more than sufficiently and rises well in the front. In the canter Stravinsky has a great deal of balance and more than sufficient scope. He does changes well and closes well.
Stravinsky shows aptitude for the more difficult exercises. He shows a more than sufficient amount of talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stall and handling behavior are normal.
Veterinary report:
Stravinsky had a non-infectious cough from the first days of the test and it was treated. As a result of training work both hocks and tendon sheaths were swollen.
The test took place from March 12 - March 31, 2001.
Stravinsky is a more than sufficiently developed Thoroughbred of sufficient rectangular model. He has a well-shaped neck with sufficient length and a remarkably well developed wither-shoulder connection. The topline is well connected and muscled. The croup has good length and muscling.
The Polish bred Thoroughbred Stravinsky came out at Intermediate level in dressage after his racing career. He is approved in Denmark where he finished a shortened performance test in an excellent manner at which he clearly showed his great "Rittigkeit". His sire, Revlon Boy xx, also produced several military horses.
The stallion keuring committee thinks that in the persona of Stravinsky they have found a Thoroughbred with an extraordinary balance and character that shows willingness to work; a trot with great activity from the hindleg and a very good canter during which the stallion closes well.
