Performance test report
1998Approval NRPS 1998 (at the extra keuring, date not published).
Some time ago the keuring stallion committee held an advice keuring for the Oldenburg stallion Rubiquil. Rubiquil is a son of the famous German dressage stallion Rubinstein I. Rubinstein I is a son of Rosenkavalier out of the mare Antine (s Angelo xx). The breeder of Rubinstein is H. de Baey, who is also the breeder of Reiner Klimke"s famous Ahlerich and of Annemarie Sanders" Amon. Therefore they are very closely related to Rubinstein. Rubinstein will make his debut at Grand Prix level at any time. The dam of Rubiquil is a daughter of the Westfalen bred Roemer (s Pilatus) who was high on the Dutch dressage index for years because of his great contribution of dressage qualities. Further back in the dam line we find the blood of the English thoroughbred Anblick xx via Homerus and his sire Cadet.
Rubiquil is a 6-year old black bay stallion with a height of 167.0 cm. He has a very expressive head with very much charisma. The movements are big and powerful and the good use of the hindleg is notable. The stallion has a very nice silhouette under saddle and he closes easily. The latter is essential for a good dressage horse. At this time Rubiquil has been introduced to Z level and has been selected for the semi finals of the AMEV-Hipo dressage cup with his still young rider Laurens van Lieren. At Champion Arnhem the combination was presented to an international jury for the first time and right away took second place after Marlies van Baalen.
The veterinary tests have been completed with good results and the stallion will be in Ermelo for the first day of the performance test.

Pedigree information 2002
Rubiquil was successfully introduced to Grand Prix dressage. He won the team gold for the Young Riders at the 2000 and 2001 European Championships as well as placings in multiple individual classes. In Rubiquil the blood of the Grand Prix stallion Rubinstein I, who became known for the Rittigkeit and dressage talent of his offspring, is combined with Roemer, Homerus (s Cadet - Anblick xx) and Eros (s Amor). All these successive stallion in the dam line stand for and guarantee power and quality in movement and are the basis for many Grand Prix horses. Rubiquil, who was previously approved by the NRPS, comes from a dam line that has produced multiple dressage horses.
Dam Aquila Keur produced 7 colts and 3 fillies, including Honneur (national jumper, s Concorde) and Rubiquil (approved NRPS stallion / also GP dressage, s. Rubinstein I). Marion is also the grandmother to Gandi (ZZL dressage, s. Apollonios xx) and Florence (Z1-dressage, s Zaire) and she is great grandmother to Ikarus (Z2-dressage, s Katell xx). Great grandmother Ingrid is the grandmother to Etoile (Z1-dressage/Z-jumper, s Zevenster) and of Eros (Z1-dressage, s Wagenaar); she is great grandmother to Dalanta (Z1-dressage, s Ultimaat).
