Performance 1993 (short test, 19 days)
Temperamental and honest. During the light exercises he showed much willingness to work. Good degree of training. The basic gaits are regular with sufficient scope. The croup stays high and there is little bend in the hindleg. He shows a lot of scope in jumping. He has a moderate bascule and a difficult mouth. He is not fun to ride. Stall behavior is calm.

Explanation from the advice keuring (1993)
This stallion was approved in 1987 by the NRPS. This Purioso son was born in 1983 to Patricia, a keur preferent prestatie mare by Rigoletto and the preferent prestatie mare Kim (a daughter of Paradiso xx out of a Czechoslovakian import). Kim received a posthumous prestatie predicate on the basis of well-performing offspring that are spread throughout the world.
Prince Paradiso-R initially jumped with Mieke Bokma from Stal Roelofs (they won the KNF indoor ZZ championship) and later with Emile Hendrix who jumped 11 times in the light tour with the stallion and won 7 times. Prince Paradiso-R was a candidate for the Barcelona Olympic Games but Hendrix chose Aldato instead because he had more experience. Next Prince Paradiso-R went to Bert Romp, who ultimately chose Waldo E for the Olympics. Finally the stallion went to Albert Voorn.
The stallion committee saw six yearlings and four foals by this stallion. They turned out to be well developed and in good type. The heads vary. In a few cases they should be a little finer, but there are also some very expressive heads. The neck has good length and shape, sometimes a little poorly muscled. The shoulder has good length but should sometimes have more slope. The wither is generally rather short but sufficiently developed. The back is well muscled, the loins are strong. The croup has good shape but sometimes could be longer. The legs are correct. The base was well developed in general, as are the feet. The walk is good, the trot shows scope and power.

Offspring report

Offspring 1994 (foals)
This stallion showed a collection of barely sufficient to sufficiently developed foals. They are sufficient riding type and have refinement. They are overbuilt and should have longer lines. The latter was less the case with the selected group of foals. The foals have pretty, expressive heads. The sufficiently long neck is a little deep from the chest. The neck is moderately muscled in the topline. The selected foals had better shape of the neck. The wither has sufficient length but should be more developed. The shoulder is long but straight. The selected foals had better shoulder placement. The well-muscled croup has good shape and sufficient length. The hamstring has sufficient length. In a few cases the correct foreleg is short. The hindleg is correct. The base is a little light but it does have quality.
The walk is good, with scope and suppleness. The foals trot well through the body with scope and a lot of suppleness. They should rise more in the front.
The mares were good riding types with a lot of thoroughbred.
No veterinary remarks

In short: a uniform group of moderately developed, overbuilt foals that move easily.
