Performance 1989
Friendly, good humor, obedient and honest. He was saddle broke at the start of the test. The walk is more than sufficient. The trot lacks in tact and regularity. The canter is more than sufficient. His free jumping is insufficient, he is stiff behind and falls over the jump. He is more than willing to work and finds the work normal. He was in poor condition upon arrival and muscled up during the test. Calm in his stall. Sometimes it"s difficult to put a headstall on him. On 3/16 he was lame because of a hoof infection and he had two days off. On 3/22 he was lame due to a hoof injury and had another two days off. On 4/08 (end of the admittance period) he quit the test.

Short test Ermelo (21 days) 1990
Obedient, friendly, honest, attentive, good humor. He had already been ridden. He has a good mouth and is nice to ride. The walk is correct with more than sufficient scope. The trot seems a little heavy but is sufficient. He paddles in the left front. The canter is his best gait, he collects easily. The canter is powerful and regular. He shows sufficient technique in jumping and has good take-off. He is careful and gives the impression that he has a lot of scope. He is more than willing to work and the work is easy for him. He was in good condition upon arrival and remained that way through the test. He ate normally. He was good in his stall.

This Holsteiner stallion showed a uniform collection of well-developed foals. The picked foals were in sufficient riding type, the selected foals without a doubt were riding type foals. The head is sometimes a little long but always well formed with expression and a clear eye that shows courage. The neck is long, well formed and is well carried while moving. The wither has good length but should be even more developed. The shoulder does have sufficient length but should sometimes have more slope. The back - though well muscled - is often a little hollow. The loins should be better connected. The croup is wide and muscled but should often be a little longer. The tail set is high. The hamstring should be longer. The foreleg is correct with a well-developed knee. The cannon should be more developed. The hindleg is correct and has a well developed hock. The walk is sufficient. The trot is characterized by tact, balance, rise, sufficient impulsion and scope. The hindleg is sometimes a little behind. The foals like to trot and almost did not jump into the canter when speeding up. One foal that was inspected at home did not deviate much from the rest of the picture, another foal had a very straight hindleg and was stiff.

In short: well-developed, sufficient riding type foals. The trot shows tact, balance and rise in the front, but the hindleg is a little slow.
