Selected Den Bosch Stallion show
In 1993 he was selected for the 2nd viewing (of the rekeuring); afterward he was brought out in sport and, amongst other things, was 4th during the final for the VSN Trophy with very high scores for jumping.

Performance Ermelo 1994 (short test)
Honest and reliable stallion. The walk could have more scope and power. The trot has sufficient scope and power but could rise more in the front. The canter has sufficient scope and power and is rather on the forehand. He works and closes well in dressage but has some trouble because of the poll. He has much take-off in jumping, much scope, good leg technique, good use of the back but the highest point of the arc is slightly past the jump. Stall behavior is normal. No veterinary remarks.

Offspring report

Offspring 1995 (foals)
This stallion showed sufficiently developed, sufficient to good riding type and refined foals.
The head is shaped well and expressive. The neck has good shape and length. The wither is not very developed but it is already long. The shoulder has sufficient length and placement. The back is frequently hollow. The loins are sufficiently connected. The croup has good shape, good muscling but should be a little longer. The stance of the foreleg is correct, sometimes the pastern is a little long. The hindleg is often straight. There was no difference between the picked and the selected foals in movement.
The walk was sufficient, somewhat lacking in suppleness. The trot is loose and easy but the hindquarter does not have very much power and should come underneath more.
The mares with the foals were generally of moderate quality.
One foal had an overbite.

In short: sufficiently developed, sufficient riding type foals with refinement and a hindleg that is sometimes a little straight. They trot easily but the hindleg should come underneath with more power.

The evaluation of the 3-year old offspring was postponed for 1 year because there were less than 10 offspring at the keuringen.

2000 Watchlist
The already exported Iron was put on the watchlist because of the evaluation of his 3- and 4-year old offspring. In two seasons less than 10 offspring were presented at the keuringen.
