Performance test report
Performance Ermelo 1999Matterhorn participated in the 1997performance test, from the spring test he was transferred to the fall test and pulled out of that one. He took 18th place in the competition for the IAN Trophy during 1998.
Matterhorn is an honest stallion that tenses quickly. He is more than willing to work and he works well.
The walk is pure and has sufficient scope. He should show more scope and push in the trot. He canters with more than enough balance and good push. As a result of tension, Matterhorn shows a varied picture as a jumper; he should always give himself more time in the last canter stride. He leaves the ground quickly, but he also jumps forward. He has good foreleg technique, but sometimes stiffens through the body and he should finish the jump better. Matterhorn has more than sufficient to a great deal of ability and he is careful.
Behavior in the stall and during handling is normal.
