Conformation Description 2000 (March 16 - May 24)Perion is a riding type stallion in more than sufficient rectangular model. The croup has very good form and placement. The base is correct.
Performance
Perion is an honest, reliable stallion. He is more than willing to work and works more than adequately.
The walk has sufficient scope but should have more freedom in the shoulder. The step is active and pure. Perion has sufficient scope at the trot. He has more than sufficient bend and push from behind, but the hindleg should be brought underneath better. He has more than sufficient scope and push from behind at the canter. He does canter a little on the forehand, but he closes sufficiently. Perion has a mediocre to sufficient talent for dressage and gives his rider an adequate feeling.
As a jumper Perion has a more than sufficient to good take-off. He has good technique of the foreleg and bascules more than sufficiently. He varies in finishing the jump from behind. The stallion seems careful and shows more than sufficient ability. He has more than sufficient to a great deal of talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.
The stallion"s behavior in the stall and while being handled was normal.
Veterinary report:
The stallion had a cough the beginning of May. The frontal air passages are sensitive. The complaints disappeared through medication.
