Conformation Description 2000 (March 16 - May 24)Pacific is a riding type stallion that is more than sufficiently developed and more than sufficiently in rectangular model. The head should have more expression, the head/poll connection is heavy. The croup and the hamstring should both be longer.
Performance
Pacific is an honest, reliable stallion. He is very willing to work and he works well.
The walk has good scope and is active and pure. The trot has sufficient scope. The stallion pushes off well at the trot and is supple. Pacific has good scope and balance at the canter. He pushes off well and is good at transitions. He has more than sufficient aptitude for dressage and gives his rider a better than average feeling.
While jumping Pacific takes off well, he jumps well from the ground. He has good technique of the foreleg, bascules very well and finishes the jump well from behind. He seems careful and to possess a great deal of ability. Pacific has a great deal of talent for jumping and gives his rider a very good feeling.
The stallion"s behavior in the stall and while being handled was normal.
Veterinary report:
The beginning of May the stallion went lame on the right front because of an infection. Medication and directed exercise contributed to his recuperation.
