Performance test report

Conformation:
Grappa is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation. His body direction should be more uphill. The head is sufficiently attractive, with a somewhat heavy jaw and an appealing eye. The poll has sufficient length and a heavy head-neck connection. The neck has good length and muscling with somewhat horizontal placement, and it comes out deep from the chest. The wither is well developed and has good length. The shoulder has very good length and placement. The back has sufficient length and muscling. The loins have good muscling and are sufficiently connected. The croup has good placement and more than sufficient muscling but needs slightly more length. The tail placement is high. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The left front leg is toed-out when viewed from the front and slightly back at the knee when viewed from the side. The hind leg is correct but slightly long. The front pasterns have good length and are correct. The legs are well developed but should be of better quality. The hooves are well developed, with good shape and quality. 

Lineage:
Grappa is by the Grand Prix stallion Fidertanz (s.Fidermark), a Florestan I grandson. Grappa's dam Zazoo is a ster PROK mare by Special D, and Grappa's granddam Top’s Tanirma is a ster PROK sport (dres) mare by the dressage sire De Niro. Top’s Tanirma competed successfully in the Medium Tour. Her dam Manirma is by a stallion which had a long and successful career in the sport: Inspekteur. Manirma boasts the ster, preferent, and prestatie predicates. The dam-line continues with the Volckmar daughter Danirma, who also earned the ster, preferent, and prestatie predicates. This predicate-rich dam-line continues with daughters by President and the English Thoroughbred Vesins xx. Other notable horses out of this dam-line include the KWPN stallions Paddox and Aqiedo.

Performance Test Report:
Grappa is an honest and reliable stallion with a good temperament. The stallion is more than sufficiently to very willing to work and has good trainability. The walk is pure and has good to very good scope. The trot has good scope, but the hind leg should step more resolutely under the body and with more bend. The stallion often goes crooked and wide behind in the trot. The canter has good balance and scope. The stallion moves with more than sufficient elasticity. Grappa demonstrates more than sufficient to abundant talent as a dressage horse and gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling. 

Stable Behavior:
Grappa is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Breeding Recommendation:
Grappa can benefit blood distribution and improve rideability and temperament in dressage horse breeding. He is best bred to mares with uphill conformation.

Performance test scores

Offspring report

Grappa showed a collection of more than sufficient to well-developed foals that fit into the rectangular model more than sufficient, but should be build more uphill. The necks have enough length but often come from deep in the chest, they are more than sufficiently vertical positioned and muscled. The back is a bit weak multiple times. The hind leg is variable in stance, as well correct, upright as a sickle stance have been established. The walk is more than sufficient in length, there has been established as well a toed out as a toed in stance. In trot the foals could generally carry more and have more power. In canter the foals showed sufficient impulsion, but should be more carried.
