Performance test report

Conformation: 
Hometown is a well-developed, slightly over-built stallion with very good rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll has sufficient length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck has slightly horizontal placement, good length, and sufficient muscling. The wither is well developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length and sufficient muscling. The loins should have more muscling but are sufficiently connected. The croup is slightly sloped but has sufficient length and muscling. The line from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock should be longer. The front leg is correct when viewed from the side but slightly toed-out when viewed from the front. The hind leg is correct. The pasterns have good length and are correct. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves are well developed with good shape and well-developed heels. 

Lineage: 
Hometown is by the promising Grand Prix stallion Apache. 
Hometown's dam-line boasts both dressage horses and jumpers. His dam is the ster mare Torose V, a daughter of the influential sire Ferro. Hometown's granddam Ilarose, an offspring of the Ramiro Z son Dageraad, was bred for versatility. She is a former 1.30m jumper. Ilarose is also dam to the Grand Prix dressage horse Maxwil V (s.Goodwill) and the Grand Prix jumper Ranino V (s.Animo). Hometown's great-granddam Turose is a keur, preferent, prestatie mare by Lucky Boy xx and the dam of Ian Miller's Grand Prix jumper My Girl. The dam-line continues with a ster mare by the English Thoroughbred Paradiso xx and the Normann daughter Forose. 

Performance Test Report: 
Hometown is an honest and reliable stallion with a youthful look and a good disposition. He is very willing to work and has good trainability. The walk is pure and has more than sufficient to good scope and elasticity. The trot is easy and has more than sufficient to good balance and more than sufficient scope. Hometown has abundant talent for collection. The canter is powerful with good scope and carriage. The stallion moves with good elasticity and more than sufficient to good body position and balance. Hometown has abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a more than sufficient to good feeling. 

Stable Behavior: 
Hometown is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Dam Report: 
Torose is a well-developed mare with good rectangular-shaped conformation. She could show slightly more nobility. 
The head is sufficiently attractive with a slightly small eye. 
The poll is sufficiently long, and the throatlatch is sufficiently light. 
The neck has vertical placement with good shape, length and muscling. 
The wither is well developed and has sufficient length. 
The back is weak, but has good length and sufficient muscling. 
The loins are weak. 
The croup is sloped and has good length. 
There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. 
The front legs are correct when viewed from the front but slightly over at the knee when viewed from the side. 
The hind leg is slightly straight. 
The pasterns are correct and have good length. 
The hooves are broad with slightly low heels. 
The legs are well-developed and of sufficient quality. 
The walk has sufficient scope with sufficient elasticity. 
The trot is short with little shoulder freedom and moderate use of the hind leg. 
The canter is short with little shoulder freedom and little carriage in the hind leg. 
The mare moves with the croup somewhat high and lacks elasticity. 

In 2003, Torose V earned the following scores in the IBOP test: 
walk: 7, trot: 7, canter: 7.5, suitability as a dressage horse: 7; jumping: push: 6.5, form: 6.5, scope: 6.5, suitability as a jumper 6.5. Total: 68 points. 

Information: According to the registered party, the mare had a sole abscess several days prior to the inspection. Her movement appeared slightly tender-footed.

Performance test scores

Offspring report

Hometown showed a uniform collection of well-developed foals that fit well into the dressage horse type. The foals fit more than sufficiently into the rectangular model and have an expressive head. The forehand is well-shaped, in which the often light head/neck connection and generally vertically positioned neck stand out. The back and loins are a bit weak multiple times. The croup is sloping. The front leg stance is correct, seen from the side, seen from the front it is occasionally toed out. The hind leg stance is variable, as well correct, as an upright and sickle stance have been established. In walk the foals showed more than sufficient length. The trot is good in length and elasticity in which
