Performance test report

Conformation: 
Irvington VDL is a more than sufficiently developed stallion with more than sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll has sufficient length with a heavy head-neck connection. The neck has sufficient shape, more than sufficient muscling but needs more length. The wither has more than sufficient to good development and more than sufficient to good length. The shoulder has more than sufficient to good length and more than sufficient to good placement. The back has more than sufficient length and good muscling. The loins are more than sufficiently muscled and well connected. The croup has good placement, more than sufficient length, and good muscling. There is more than sufficient to good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is constricted when viewed from the side but correct when viewed from the front. The hind leg is correct. The pasterns have more than sufficient length and are correct. The legs are more than sufficiently developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are somewhat narrow but well-developed and of sufficient quality. The heels are well developed. 

Lineage: 
Irvington VDL is a son of the 1.40m-classified jumper Dallas VDL, whose sire Douglas competed successfully in international show jumping. Tanagra M is a very successful broodmare. She is the dam of the international 1.40m jumper Banagro M (s.Cardento), the international 1.30m jumper Ceasar (s.Landlord) and the 1.35m jumper Anagra M (s.Montreal). Two of Tanagra M's full-sisters competed in the 1.30m, and her dam Heather (s.Notaris) is also the granddam of international show jumpers including Ceather M (s.Quasimodo Z, 1.50m), Cashuno (s.Numero Uno, 1.45m), Zenco (s.Chin Chin, 1.40m) and Zupi-Star (s.Jupilot, 1.35m), as well as the national 1.35m jumper Vinity M (s.Baloubet du Rouet). The Grand Prix show jumpers Jamiro (s.G.Ramiro Z), Marlou (s.Jus de Pomme) and Leo (s.Goodtimes), as well as a long series of other good sporthorses, are other products of this dam-line. 

Performance Test Report: 
Irvington VDL is an honest and willing stallion that gets tense easily. He is very willing to work and has good trainability. The walk has sufficient to more than sufficient scope. The trot has sufficient to more than sufficient scope and elasticity. The canter is powerful with more than sufficient scope and good balance. The stallion moves with more than sufficient to good body position and balance. Irvington VDL jumps quick off the ground with abundant push and good body elevation. The stallion demonstrates good form, especially when he is relaxed. Irvington VDL appears careful and shows abundant scope. He demonstrates abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a good feeling. 

Stable Behavior: 
Irvington VDL is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

No peculiarities noted.

Expected fertility class: moderate.

Irvington VDL can add quick reflexes to jumper breeding. 

Dam Report: 
Tanagra M is a sufficiently developed mare with sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation and a downhill body direction. 
The head is sufficiently attractive with a nice large eye. 
The poll has sufficient length with a heavy head-neck connection. 
The neck has good shape, sufficient length and good muscling. 
The wither is well-developed and has more than sufficient length. 
The shoulder has more than sufficient length but is slightly straight. 
The back has more than sufficient length but is weak. (The mare was 16 years old at the time of inspection.) 
The loins are sufficiently muscled and connected. 
The croup has good placement, sufficient length, and more than sufficient muscling. 
There is more than sufficient length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. 
The front leg is slightly toed-in when viewed from the front but correct when viewed from the side. 
The hind leg is straight. 
The pasterns have more than sufficient length and are correct. 
The hooves are well developed and of good quality with slightly low heels. 
The legs are well developed and of good quality. 
The walk is active and has more than sufficient scope. 
The trot has more than sufficient scope with good carriage and a hind leg which carries/steps under the body more than sufficiently. 
The canter is powerful with more than sufficient scope and elasticity. 
The mare was in the late stages of pregnancy during the inspection. 

In 2003, Tanagra M earned the following scores in the EPTM test: 
walk: 7.5, trot: 6, canter: 7, suitability as a dressage horse: 6; jumping: push: 7.5, form: 8, scope: 7.5, suitability as a jumper 7.5. Total: 70.5 points.
