The Longines FEI WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championship for Young Horses, taking place this year in Verden, is an international championship for five-, six-, and seven-year-old dressage horses. The World Championship is a highlight for dressage enthusiasts and attracts thousands of visitors from both the Netherlands and abroad each year. From August 5 to 10, 2025, the world's best young horses will compete for the medals.
The Royal Dutch Sport Horse (KWPN) has consistently demonstrated its global leadership in dressage breeding through outstanding performances at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. From 1997 to 2023, KWPN horses have achieved 35 podium finishes, reflecting excellence across all age categories. This impressive record includes twelve first-place finishes, nine second-place results, and fourteen third-place awards.
