Type 2001 (March 14 - May 22)
Regilio is a more than sufficiently developed, riding type stallion that stands in more than sufficient rectangular model. The neck is well muscled, a little wide at the base and it has sufficient length. The back is strong; the loins are tight. The hindleg is sickle hocked. The base is well developed.

Pedigree information
From the Holsteiner line 890 comes the third Heartbreaker son. This remarkable young stallion has a flashing take off, excellent technique and abundant scope. He shows many reflexes and quality. Heartbreaker himself is still a sensation on the course. To this add the sureness of the Burggraaf and Lord jumping genes and you have the recipe for a jumper stallion. The line has also produced the KWPN approved stallion Elmshorn.
The blood of the explosive jumper Heartbreaker is combined with Holstein line 890 through Burggraaf. Heartbreaker, Burggraaf and the 3/4 thoroughbred Lord, one of the leading Holstein sires, have more than earned their spurs in both sport and breeding. The thoroughbred Sacramento Song xx is behind Lord in the pedigree. Dam Maud has produced 1 colt and 1 filly. Grandmother Bolamara produced Jordan (KWPN stallion/Z2-dressage horse, s Cocktail) and Kevin (national jumper, s Veneur de Prelet).

Performance
Regilio is an honest, reliable stallion. He is very willing to work and he works sufficiently. The walk is pure and has good scope. The trot is moderate to sufficient in scope. Regilio has sufficient impulsion and suppleness, but he trots on the forehand. Regilio has sufficient scope at the canter, with much impulsion and good balance. He is good at changes. Regilio has sufficient talent for dressage and gives his rider a moderate feeling.
In jumping Regilio has a good take-off. He leaves the ground quickly and jumps back well. Regilio jumps with good technique of the foreleg. He bascules well and he varies in how he finishes the jump behind. He seems careful and shows a lot of scope. Regilio has a lot of talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stall and handling behavior are normal.

Offspring 2003 (foals)
Regilio showed a uniform collection of moderate to sufficiently developed, riding type foals that have sufficient refinement and quality. The head is expressive and well formed. The poll has sufficient length. The neck is well shaped and muscled, but should be longer. The loins are well formed and well connected. The croup has good length, sometimes it is a little round. The hamstring is more than sufficiently long. The stance of the foreleg is correct when seen from the side. Generally it is toed out. The hindleg is long and sickle hocked. The base has quality but it is fine.
The walk is pure, limited in scope and should have more suppleness. The trot has sufficient scope and the hindleg has sufficient impulsion and bend. The foals have more than sufficient self carriage at the trot but the foreleg stays a little flat. The canter is active and more than sufficient in scope and impulsion.
There are 9 picked foals and 2 that were selected by the owner. One foal that was inspected at home (one of twins) was not sufficiently developed. The foals that were selected by the owner fit in with the above picture.
The quality of the mares ranged from moderate to average.
