Conformation description 2002 (March 14 - May 22)
Sidney is a well developed, riding type stallion in good rectangular model. The neck is well formed and comes vertically from the chest. The wither is sufficiently developed. He has weak pasterns. The base should have more quality.

Pedigree description
There is a lot of Holsteiner jumping blood in the stallion"s pedigree. To start with of course there is Goodtimes, who has produced several top jumpers. The dam"s sire Alasca (Ahorn- Almé x Calypso II) gets help from Libero H, Porter, Farn, Hanassi xx and Amor. Grand dam Iomara successfully jumped at ZZ level. Her grand dam, the Farn mare Vomara, was an international jumper.

Performance 
Sidney is an honest, reliable stallion. There is more than sufficient willingness to work and he works more than sufficiently. The walk is pure and has sufficient scope, but is a little slow. Sidney has sufficient scope in the trot. He should develop a little more tact and power. Sidney has good scope in the canter. He canters with more than sufficient push from behind and good balance. Sidney has sufficient talent for dressage and gives his rider a sufficient feeling.
As a jumper Sidney has a sufficient to good take-off. He jumps with more than sufficient, sometimes varying technique of the foreleg and bascules more than sufficiently. Sidney finishes the jump well behind. He seems careful and shows a lot of scope. Sidney has a great deal of talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stall and handling behavior are normal.
