Pedigree information state 2004The young Holsteiner Chellano-Z has made his international jumping debut and has thereby proven his pedigree. His father Contender is a super star in the breeding of sport horses and his mother is a full sister to the top sire Corrado. In combination with the French mother, this makes Ultime Espoir interesting. We also know her father Laeken as the father of the very successful sport horse Champion du Lys and her great grandfather Uriel is amongst the top French jumper sires.
Conformation description 2004
Ultime Espoir is a sufficiently developed, riding type stallion. The neck is horizontal. The shoulder is long and sloping. The stance of the legs is correct. The heels on the front feet are a little low.
Performance Ermelo 2004 (15-09 t/m 12-11)
Ultime Espoir is an honest, trustworthy and playful stallion with a good character. The stallion has good willingness to work and works more than sufficiently.
The walk has sufficient scope, is pure and shows sufficient suppleness. The walk could be more powerful. The trot is moderate to sufficient in scope, has sufficient balance but should have more impulsion and power. The canter is big and he is light on his feet. Ultime Espoir is too much on the forehand during movement. The stallion has moderate talent for dressage and gives his rider a moderate to sufficient feeling.
The stallion jumps with a good take-off and he is quick. The foreleg folds well. He bascules more than sufficiently and should use the body more. The stallion has trouble jumping back and often the highest point is after the jump. He seems careful, he is light on his feet and shows more than sufficient to much scope. He has much talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stall behavior: Honest, trustworthy stallion that is nice to work with and easy to handle.
