Conformation
Crescendo HBC is a well-developed stallion with very good harness type. He carries his neck well. The head and neck could be slightly more regal. The front leg stance is somewhat straight, and the hooves are small. The hind legs are correct.

Lineage
Crescendo HBC, the champion of the 2007 National Foal Inspection, is a product of Wodka HBC's first year at stud. Wodka HBC is by the highly valued stallion Roy M (s.Larix), who passed away prematurely. After Mieke van Tergouw purchased Wodka HBC in late 2008 to compete him in international driving, his breeding availability became limited to frozen semen. Crescendo HBC's dam Landini ster preferent, who earned 22 points, is by the classically-bred harness horse stallion Fortissimo. Landini's most famous offspring is the open class horse Raymond M (2nd round viewing, s.Larix), registered to Stal Harink. Crescendo HBC's granddam Zendrini keur preferent (s.Proloog) was a very successful show mare (1985 Sport Mare of the Year). Through the top inspection horse Kendini keur (s.Factor), she is the granddam of the approved stallion Stuurboord (s.Jonker), the 2008 Dutch champion breeding stallion and winner of the 2010 Oregon Trophy. The dam-line has produced a number of successful inspection- and show horses.

Crescendo HBC is an honest and reliable stallion. He is very willing to work and good to drive. The walk is sufficient. In front of the show carriage, the stallion moves with good to very good elevation in his body and carries his neck well. He has abundant to very abundant knee action, and his front legs have good to very good reach and scope. The hind leg bends well and steps under the body more than sufficiently to good. The trot has good suspension. The stallion has abundant desire to work. Crescendo HBC has abundant to very abundant talent as a harness horse and gives his driver a good to very good feeling.

Stable Behavior
Crescendo HBC is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Breeding Recommendation
Crescendo HBC is best bred to regal mares with well-developed hooves. There is reasonable expectation that Crescendo HBC will improve harness horse traits with his good front leg use and suspension, among other qualities.

Dam Report
Landini is a well-developed mare with sufficient harness horse type. The head is slightly coarse and has a curved profile. The poll has sufficient length. The neck has sufficient length and good muscling but comes out deep from the chest. The wither is high and sufficiently long. The shoulder has good length but could be more sloped. The back has good muscling. The loins have good muscling. The croup is short and somewhat flat. The mare has a rather high tail set. The front leg has good length. The hind leg is slightly angled. The pasterns have good length. The hooves are well developed. The legs are of good quality with good joints. The walk is powerful with sufficient scope. The trot has abundant push, with good scope and action. The mare is cow-hocked.

carriage-6 (x2), suspension-6.5 (x2), front leg action-8 (x2), hind leg use-7.5 (x2), desire to work-8, overall impression as a harness horse-7. Total-71 points.
